The Pretoria Fields Collective was founded more than 20 years ago by Robert Morgan, a former pharmacist turned vascular surgeon who founded the Albany Vascular Specialist Center. Pretory Fields Brewery is proud that brewers and farmers are working together to produce the slowest beer in Georgia's soil. They do this by coordinating the efforts of their local farmers and brewers from South Africa.

The campus, formerly known as Setlogelo Technikon, was renamed after the merger with the Medical University of South Africa, formerly known as the South African Medical College of Albania (SAMC). Located in Ga. Rankuwa Zone 2, in the heart of downtown Tirana, just a few blocks from the main shopping district of the city.
It is the first medical school in Albania and the only one of its kind in the world, with more than 1,000 students.
